Biography
Jacquelyn has lived in Los Angeles
most of her life. She received her art training at UCLA's Department
of Fine Arts and art study at Art Center of Design. Later she was awarded
the gifted Mentor Scholarship Program at Santa Monica College where
she studied with master painters Judith Elgart and Maurizio Barattucci.
In 1991, she was awarded the Pearl Guttenplan Award and Scholarship.
Jacquelyn works en plein air in
the Santa Monica Mountains, Malibu and surrounding Southern California
areas. She has spent time painting in Northern California and la Loire
and Alsace regions of France. Jacquelyn is a faculty member at Santa
Monica College extension where she teaches painting and drawing.
